High-performance, self-latching doors (fail safe, 3-point stainless steel) open to a full 180 degrees and close securely for maximum protection under fire conditions when pushed shut. Continuous piano hinges ensure the doors close smoothly every time. For added security, each cabinet comes with an innovative U-Loc handle that does not require manual rotation to engage the mandatory latch. Cabinets include a cylinder lock and key set, or you can choose to use your own padlock. Haz-Alert reflective warning labels that read "FLAMMABLE - KEEP FIRE AWAY" are highly visible under fire conditions or during power outages when illuminated with a flashlight. The cabinet also features back wall vents with built in flame arresters and a grounding connector to electrically bond directly to the chemical fume hood. Its durable lead-free epoxy/polyester powder-coat finish provides excellent chemical resistance inside and out, as well as minimizes the effects of corrosion and humidity.
