The carbon exhaust filter traps potentially harmful vapors emitted from solvents, protecting works from inhaling dangerous fumes. The UN/DOT certified carboy and 70-mm closed cap (UN Rating 3H1/Y1.8/100) are designed for single-use and easy disposal of laboratory waste. The HDPE cap with acetal homopolymer adapter offers a wide range of tubing port configurations, with and without hose barb ports and includes a chemical resistant EPDM gasket and additional plugs to seal any unused ports. The ergonomically designed HDPE carboy features a large top handle for a full hand grip and provides excellent chemical compatibility against aggressive solvents. The 90-degree filter adapter provides a low profile position for the carbon filter to gain optimal system storage on or below the bench. Optional filter replacement indicator makes it easy to see when filter is saturated and requires replacement.
