Whack 'Em Double Railroad Wheel Chock for Flush Rail
Aldon's Whack 'Em Double Railroad Wheel Chock is built for tough loading and unloading conditions, including tank car applications where chocks can get stuck under the wheel.
Under certain loading/unloading conditions, such as with tank cars, wheel chocks with steel spurs can sometimes get stuck under the wheel. No problem! Aldon "Whack 'Em" chocks have reinforced steel handles that stand up to hammer blows or yanking the handles sideways.
All steel construction railcar wheel chocks with replaceable rail biting spur for securing freight cars and locomotives. The traction spur can be rotated to a new edge or replaced when dulled for increased product life

Note: Aldon's steel railcar chocks were successfully tested at the Association of American Railroad’s testing facility in Pueblo, Colorado to withstand more than 25,000 lbs. of drawbar pull. That's roughly equivalent to 32% of a typical SD-40 freight locomotive's drawbar pull.
Safe Use of Product
Cautions:
- For use on railcars or locomotive with 28"-44" wheel diameters ONLY.
- For rail sizes 75 to 141 lbs./yd.
- Set brake before installing chock.
- Use 2 chocks per car being worked. Never install chocks while car is moving.
- DO NOT use chocks on grade.
- Dull or missing spurs may cause chocks to slip. Rotate or replace when necessary.
- Never use chocks to hold a car that is lifted on one for maintenance.
- Excessive vibration may cause a chock to slip.
- On double chocks, always use tarp strap (supplied with chocks) to draw chocks tight.
- DO NOT install chocks on oily or greasy rail. Chocks may slip.
