Guardian 00657 CB-18 Roof Anchor Point for Wood or Metal Decking

A robust anchor point suitable for installation on wood, or steel decking. Its durable galvanized steel construction supports permanent applications such as penetrating roofs. It also works well in temporary applications that need to move as work progresses. CB-18 anchor points can be used as single point tie-offs or as part of a horizontal lifeline system to cover a greater work area.

Specifications:
- 5,000 lb. MBS (minimum breaking strength)
- Type A anchorage connector
- Minimum permitted service temperature: -30° F.
- Standards: OSHA 1910.140 & OSHA 1926.502
Minimum Substrate Thickness Requirements:
- Wood: 3/4” CDX
- Metal: 18 gauge, or 20 gauge if reinforced with CB Spanner Plate (part # 00604, contact Guardian for more information)
Substrate fastener requirements:
- Wood: #14 x 10, 2” wood deck screws. Qty. 60 (part 00668)
- Metal: #14 x 14, 2” metal deck screws. Qty. 60 (part 00669)
- Please note that longer screws may be required in order to achieve the minimum necessary substrate penetration. All fasteners must penetrate metal decking by at least ¼”
